It has barely been months,
yet you feel so far away.
We have peeled each other through
to our cores those passing days.
In the power of those memories,
I encased all left trust,
found no truth in each substance;
rediscovered sheer lust.
You might think I am heartless,
I think you know best.
Like a treacherous bird
I'll keep finding new nests.
I can cheat till I die,
I'm too human inside,
I ll be wanting new thrills
once my storm will subside.
New eras of solitude
help me forget
vestiges of regret
shame,I'll always regret.
